Today was my first time at Bardo Beauty and I will 100% be coming back. I came to Dana after a previous balayage service that didn’t give me the results I was hoping for. Dana asked me what I wanted to change/ didn’t like about my hair and absolutely exceeded my expectations with the results. The color is identical to the inspo pictures I provided and I never left a salon feeling so happy with my hair. The staff is very sweet and I can’t wait to go back again. If you’re looking for somewhere to get a balayage, go to Bardo! You won’t regret it
I went in asking for a butterfly haircut with soft, blended layers and a little bit of side bangs. Unfortunately, the results were not what I expected. I didn’t realize how choppy the cut was until I straightened my hair today. The haircut looks uneven rather than soft and blended. As you can see in the pictures, I have to curl it just to make it look more put together. For the color, I wanted a balayage, but it came out looking more like highlights. The stylist did redo it, and I do appreciate the effort. Overall, everyone was kind and professional, but I’m disappointed I didn’t leave with the haircut or color I asked for.
Dana is truly one of a kind. After leaving my previous stylist in tears, I messaged Dana late one night feeling completely defeated about my hair. She immediately reassured me that she could help, got me in for the very first appointment the next day, and performed a color correction that I honestly didn’t think was possible. For years, I had been asking for all the warmth to be taken out of my hair and was constantly told that my hair “just doesn’t get ashy.” In ONE appointment, Dana not only removed the warmth completely, but gave me the exact cool-toned color I had been trying to achieve for years. On top of that, she corrected what I can only describe as a horrible color job. I truly didn’t think my hair could be fixed — and somehow she fixed it and exceeded my expectations. Dana listens. She advises. She cares. And she is an absolute miracle worker. Her prices are amazing, her products are top notch, and her talent speaks for itself. I will never go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend!
